Surprise attack in a Californian department store

A scene of chaos unfolded at Nordstrom in Topanga Mall, Canoga Park, California. A large group, estimated by police at between 30 and 50 people, invaded the store in the middle of the afternoon, around 4pm. The intruders used bear spray against two security guards who confronted them. The criminals quickly made off with luxury items, including handbags and high-end clothing. Videos posted on X (formerly Twitter) captured the scene, showing individuals fleeing with arms full of items. To date, no suspects have been arrested and the total amount of goods stolen has not been confirmed.
