In the city of Torrance, located in Los Angeles County, California, a baffling and tragic event occurred. A 66-year-old Palos Verdes man named Ken Teshima was run over by a homeless man he knew and was trying to help. Mr. Teshima, having recognized the individual in need, approached the man with the intention of rendering assistance. Unexpectedly, the situation quickly deteriorated, and he found himself seriously injured by the person he was trying to help. The injury to Mr Teshima's skull was so severe that it resulted in an overnight stay in intensive care, where he was treated for a cracked and bleeding skull.
