A woman is struck by lightning as a massive storm and flash flood engulf a Russian town

A veritable deluge shook the Russian town of Kolomna, 120 kilometers southeast of Moscow. During the torrential storm, a woman found herself in the wrong place at the wrong time: close to an electric scooter, she was struck by lightning. In the midst of this meteorological apocalypse, flooded streets, trees blown down by the violent wind and general panic were not the only dangers. The unfortunate victim's burns were so severe that she had to be rushed to hospital. She is now in intensive care, but stable.
