A man treated like a hero after neutralizing a gunman

On Friday, June 23, 2023, a potentially tragic incident was skilfully averted at Turnberry Towers, near Karen and Paradise. An individual armed with an AR-15, among other weapons, burst into the building, opening fire at the reception desk. An employee with a firearms permit quickly intervened to put an end to the attack, with no further injuries. For local residents, this employee is a true hero.
