A policeman is shot during a traffic stop (Public averti)

On June 19, Phoenix police officer Sean Harkins had no idea that his stop of a Kia driver would turn into a real game of Dodgeball. The suspect, 29-year-old Luis Mateo Jacobo Borja, took the initiative, shooting first and hitting our officer in the leg. Without losing his cool, Harkins manages to get back into his car and calls for backup. Don't panic, our cop is now home, safe and sound. The adventure ends tragically for Borja, found dead in his car after a chase punctuated by police gunfire and an unexpected "encounter" with a wall.
