In a twist worthy of a crime novel, Erika Covington and Arionna Taylor, both 20, were spotted in the corridors of the famous Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, hand-in-hand with 25-year-old Bryan Altamirano-Solano, shortly before his tragic death. Surveillance video shows the women, hilariously, speeding back down the hallway just 14 minutes later, carrying what authorities believe to be Altamirano-Solano's purse. The evidence - a bullet found at the crime scene, clothing matching that in the video at the suspects' homes, and their Instagram posts - led to their being charged with murder. Covington's defense? Selective amnesia caused by a car accident, which could well add a new chapter to our "Handbook of Improbable Excuses". As for Taylor, she simply told the detectives to do their job. How reassuring...
