When Russians are attacked by ... Russians (Wagner Group Rebellion)

A wind of rebellion is blowing through the streets of Rostov, Russia, where mercenary Yevgeny Prigozhin (head of the Wagner group, which wages war in Ukraine on behalf of Putin) has unleashed an insurrectionary movement against the powers that be. As head of the Wagner mercenary force, Prigozhin accuses Russia's military leadership of incompetence, disputing the official reason for the invasion of Ukraine. He now claims to control military sites in Rostov-on-Don (Russia), a key city in the war in Ukraine. While the Russian president condemns this rebellion and promises inevitable punishment, the Russian security services open a criminal investigation against Prigozhin. It all adds up to a picture of internal discord far removed from the usual cliché of a monolithic Russia.
