Police officer attacked by two youths

The mundane daily life of a Detroit police officer was transformed into a bizarre scene on Saturday, June 10. Stopped at a BP gas station to refuel before joining Taylor Swift's security detail, he was assaulted and robbed of his service weapon by two youths, now locked up. A video shows a tug-of-war over his firearm. Police Chief James White says this daring incident will not alter police practices. Unfortunately, the stolen weapon has still not been recovered, and the motive for the attack remains a mystery.
