A scum pulls out a gun and shoots into the crowd on the beach

On a Friday afternoon on a Chicago beach, an act of bravery, but not the good kind, turned the first day of summer into an episode of a Hollywood action movie. An obviously misguided fellow pulled out a gun and started shooting at the crowd, just three short hours after the beach had opened for the summer season. Naturally, the public played a frightening version of "1, 2, 3, sun", hastily taking cover. Around 100 people were present, no doubt hoping for a tan rather than a ballistic obstacle course.
