While trying to neutralize a dangerous individual, he strangled and killed him

A horrifying video shows the moment a 24-year-old former U.S. Marine strangles an erratic New York City subway passenger to death. The events took place Monday afternoon at the Broadway-Lafayette station in Manhattan when 30-year-old Jordan Neely entered the train and began threatening other passengers. Witnesses reported that he was behaving in a hostile and erratic manner before the young Marine began to choke him, holding him down until he lost consciousness. Neely was transported to Lenox Hill Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police decided not to charge the Marine in the case. According to the New York Post, Neely was homeless and had mental health issues.
