A woman had her leg crushed against a concrete pillar at Aintree after two riderless horses crashed into her at this year's Grand National. The terrifying moment came after Recite A Prayer and Galvin ejected their riders at the first obstacle, riding the course alone for some distance before veering off the track. In footage captured by a spectator, the horses failed to slow down and sped off the track, hitting the spectator at high speed. The spectators' warnings were not enough, and after tripping on the concrete, the woman had little time to get to safety.
