A shocking video shows the moment a speeding suspect on a bicycle, pursued by an unmarked police car, is violently thrown to the ground by oncoming officers. The cyclist somersaults in the air, landing hard on his back and lying motionless on the ground, while other vehicles join the scene. Authorities had been alerted that an armed person was in the area. The suspect was eventually arrested by heavily armed police officers as he lay on the ground, moaning in pain. He appeared in Grimsby Magistrate's Court and is charged with carrying a fake firearm, possession of a blade and cannabis, as well as attempted escape from custody and assaulting an emergency worker.
