Many policemen come to arrest him for piercing his son's ear

Arkansas police were filmed breaking into a home to arrest the father who had pierced his son's left ear. Jeremy Sherland, 45, was arrested in front of his wife and son who protested to no avail. The police acted on a report from the school where the boy had been seen with the piercing. It is illegal to pierce the body of a minor under the age of 16 without a license. Sherland spent two nights in jail and now faces charges of endangering the life of a minor, resisting arrest and obstructing a government operation.
