A man breaks into a woman's apartment and watches her while she sleeps on the couch

A 23-year-old man, Dan Abimana, was accused of entering a woman's apartment in Ankeny, Iowa, and watching her in a disturbing manner while she slept on her couch. According to the surveillance video, he also allegedly touched her knees, drank water from her kitchen sink, and left a note that referenced his nighttime observation. The woman was awakened by the man touching her knee and called her son, but the man had already left. Although no malicious intent was reported, the experience was traumatic for the woman and her family.
