A teenager was arrested after a high-speed chase that resulted in a fatal crash in Diboll early Tuesday morning. According to Lufkin police, an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on S. Bynum St. around 1:30 a.m. after the driver failed to maintain his lane. Authorities say a 17-year-old boy was identified as the driver. Despite the officer's commands to stop, the driver accelerated to speeds in excess of 160 kph and zigzagged between vehicles on Southwood Dr. Police used nails at the intersection of Southwood Dr. and U.S. 59 to stop the vehicle, but the driver continued to drive on flat tires. Eventually, he lost control of the vehicle and rolled over several times on N. Temple Dr. in Diboll. The passenger, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle. Both occupants were transported to the hospital for treatment. The driver was arrested for attempted escape with a vehicle and possession of marijuana.
Plus il y aura d'attardés, plus il y aura de courses-poursuites (il faut être idiot pour tenter de fuir les policiers méga-organisés, nombreux, habitués à ce genre de chose, etc). Webchoc n'est pas prêt de manquer de contenu.
