Man in drunken SUV attempts to run over pedestrians

A scene of violence unfolded at an intersection in downtown San Diego. It started when the driver of an SUV and a woman got into an argument that quickly escalated. The car ended up jumping the curb, narrowly missing hitting two homeless people. That's when a man intervened, armed with a baseball bat, and began hitting the car, breaking the windows. The drunk driver made several attempts to run down the man, who was defending himself with the bat. Eventually, police responded and arrested the driver for assault with a deadly weapon and driving under the influence of alcohol.
