Tauree Thompson, a 28-year-old Queens resident, tried to stop the theft of his Lexus by three teenagers at the Taco Bell on Liberty Ave. Thompson desperately clung to the roof of the vehicle, but the robbers lost control of the car and crashed into him, leaving Thompson seriously injured. Authorities arrested two of the alleged young criminals, but the hero of the car remains hospitalized in critical condition.
