Axe-wielding man shot by police in Compton (Warning - shocking)

On November 3, 2022, Compton Police were alerted to a man with an axe at an unidentified establishment. He was quickly identified as Ramiro Lozano, a 46-year-old man, who attempted to flee when police arrived at the scene. Despite the police officer's summons to stop him, Lozano did not comply and attempted to flee. The officer was forced to use his weapon and hit Lozano in the chest. He was taken to the hospital and died from his injuries. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of this intervention.
