Oakland witnessed a distressing scene over the weekend as an illegal sideshow resulted in an assault on a family who had simply stopped to voice their concerns about the dangerous antics on display. The unfortunate incident began as the man tried to reason with the participants of the illegal gathering, only to be met with aggression. As he attempted to protect his family by putting them in their SUV, the mob targeted him, violently beating and robbing him, and vandalizing his vehicle.
