On February 5, at 3:30 p.m., a 34-year-old driver driving a Toyota Mark 2 without a license caused an accident. Although he had already lost his license, he drove on a sidewalk on Karl Marx Boulevard, hit two pedestrians and hit a pole at the exit of a traffic circle on Bolnichnaya Street. The two injured pedestrians, a woman born in 1948 and a man born in 1976, were rushed to the hospital. The driver claimed to have lost consciousness due to health problems, but refused to submit to a sobriety test. Miraculously, the pedestrians' lives are not in danger.
