This weekend, a group of five youths committed a brazen robbery at an Oakland convenience store. The crime, which occurred shortly before midnight on Saturday, was captured on shop surveillance video. In the video, the suspects, all wearing black masks and hoodies, can be seen entering the shop and approaching the clerk. They first ask to buy tobacco, but when the shop assistant asks to see their identification, one of the suspects pulls out a handgun and demands money. The suspects fled with thousands of dollars in cash, and the cashier was fortunately not injured.
