Animal hero saves donkey dragged by car in Ireland

In Ireland, an animal welfare volunteer rescued a donkey that was being dragged down a road by a car. The video shows the donkey, tied to the back of the car with a rope around its mouth, being pulled by the driver. The animal welfare volunteer, who was walking behind the car, shouted at the driver to stop and finally, after nearly a minute of filming, the car stopped. The donkey was seized by local police and six other people with the help of the charity My Lovely Horse Rescue, who condemned the incident as a "horrific act of cruelty". The Irish police are currently investigating the incident under the Animal Health and Welfare Act.
