Firefighters in Portage, Michigan saved a man's life by quickly removing him from an overturned Jeep on train tracks just seconds before a train collided with the vehicle. The incident occurred Friday evening after a two-car crash caused the Jeep to overturn. The driver of the Jeep was taken to a local hospital for treatment of severe back pain, while the other driver involved in the crash was not injured. The quick actions of the firefighters and police officers on the scene were praised by the chief of the Portage Public Safety department.
