In Chicago, on October 15, a motorist refuses to leave his car to a thief and hangs on to it to keep it in sight. The carjacker tried to get him out of the car by braking and turning sharply, but was unsuccessful. The carjacker, who was wearing an electronic bracelet, according to witnesses, had to abandon the vehicle.
